历史沿革[edit]
村名取自村委会辖下最大的自然村盘村。2004年随镇划入武江区；之前依次为村委会（1998年）、管理区（1987年）、乡政府（1983年）、大队（1958年）和盘村乡（1951年）。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村分盘村、多田、城村、密落四部分。境内森林、水力和矿产资源较多，矿产有稀土矿和瓷土矿等。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2008年有15个村民小组、518户、2730人，耕地共2375亩，旱地172亩、水田2203亩，农民人均收入4391.8元。种植水稻、蔬菜、油菜、果树，少数村民从事畜牧、渔业和林业，不少青壮年到珠江三角洲务工。[1]
荣誉[edit]
盘村村获评「2023年广东省卫生村」，命名时间为2024年3月。[1]
