到京珠高速韶关站出口和106国道各约2公里。东南以分水岭与西联镇甘棠村分界，南接曲江区白土镇苏拱村，西北与奇石、续源、冲下、社主四村相邻。[1]镇属第二中学和中心小学设在村内。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2008年辖24个村民小组，总人口3866人，全为农业户口；耕地3500亩，山林5000亩，农民人均纯收入为5017.9元。种植水稻、蔬菜、果树，传统品种有淮山、茨菇和莲藕。[1]
荣誉[edit]
龙归村入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」，认定时间为2026年3月。[1]
