群爱村在荔城街道西面，离城区中心7.5千米，与百花山庄相邻，面积2.5平方千米，总人口857人，分8个合作社，拥有山地3500亩。[1]

村内的百花林摩崖石刻是南宋遗物，在2002年7月列入第六批广州市文物保护单位。[1][2]

村四面环山，森林覆盖率在95%以上，有百花溪流过，岸边有百年水翁树。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前这里叫百花洞；土改时设百花洞小乡，1955年办初级农业社，1957年升为高级社时改称群爱社，1958年起称群爱大队。1983年恢复为乡，1987年1月撤区建镇，乡改为村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民收入靠外出打工和在村里种荔枝、龙眼。2020年8月，群爱村以增城蜜菊入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

百花林摩崖石刻在少塘自然村的溪旁石壁上，高1米、宽1.5米，刻有南宋咸淳进士李肖龙的五言诗，其中「荔子漫山红」一句被用来说明宋元时期增城荔枝种植已相当兴盛。2023年11月，该石刻入选《广州市地名保护名录（第二批）》。[2]

该村是广东省爱卫会2021年12月评定的卫生村之一。[1]
