振兴村是狮岭镇下辖的行政村，在狮岭城区北面，北面环山，面积约14.25平方公里，下分21个经济社。盘古王庙（盘古神坛）就在村内。村名取振奋精神、兴旺发达之意。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

振兴农民协会成立于1950年；1958年改为振兴大队；1963年，大横、兴叶两个大队并入，仍称振兴大队。1987年1月设立振兴村委会，起初归狮岭区公所管，3月起改归狮岭镇政府。^[1]

有1271户、6341名常住居民，外来流动人口约5万（该页未注明年份）。主要姓氏有邱、钟、冯、毕、练、黄、邹、王、巫、蓝等。^[1]

金狮大道、山前旅游大道东西向，盘古路、振兴路、阳光路、宝峰路南北向，穿过村境。村以工业为主，落户企业460多家，其中不少是皮具厂；村民的收入来自个体经营和房屋出租。^[1]

振兴村连续三年（2020至2022年）列入「淘宝村」名单。^[1]2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。^[1]

盘古神坛（盘古王庙）在村内炉山山麓，属清代古建筑，2008年12月列入广州市第七批文物保护单位。建庙时间据博雅地名网为清嘉庆十四年（1809年）。^[1]
