西坑村的森林覆盖率高，村内山溪水体清澈，村民在此养殖一种特色鱼类。棺材岭山上有唐墓陈承亲墓。[1][2]

山溪水质清净，鱼肉紧实，鲜味突出，多被本地餐馆用来制作鱼生，也有订单发往珠三角地区。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

棺材岭山上的陈承亲墓是一座砖室墓，1992年11月被发现。墓内设神龛13只，墓顶为券顶。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

2019年9月，西坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[3]
