西坑村位于河婆街道西部，共两个自然村，即西坑与古竹，村委会设在西坑村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村落建在镇政府西侧，村内水源充足，当地称河流为“坑”，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1968年从原大队分出，成为独立的行政村；1990年成为西坑管理区办事处；1999年才定名为西坑村民委员会[1]。

社区荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，西坑村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会评定西坑村为「2022年广东省卫生村」[1]。
