历史沿革[edit]

村庄创建于宋朝。1958年此地归入磐东公社，称下寨大队；1983年改称下寨乡；1986年设立村委会。[1]

交通[edit]

村内有镇东路通往榕城，并与省道335线相接。[1]

文化[edit]

村庄列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间为2019年9月。[1]
