下村为饶平县新圩镇所辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年隶渔村乡，1958年归浮山公社，1965年划为渔村农场南下管区。1972年为渔村公社下村大队，1983年设下村乡，隶渔村区。[1]

1986年成立下村村委会，1990年为渔村下村管理区，1999年起定为下村村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，该村获广东省爱卫会评定为「2020年广东省卫生村」。[1]

2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
