坑美村是文祠镇下辖的行政村，俗称陂坑尾，又称坑尾，雅称坑美，村中有江、刘、张三姓。[1]

村史[edit]

此村在明崇祯九年（1636年）已经立村。江姓先祖自登荣都赤水江迁来，张姓自登荣都合佩迁入，刘姓则从饶平县坪溪迁入。村处陂坑上游，因习惯称上游为“末尾”，故名陂坑尾。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村中盛产橄榄、杨梅与茶叶，陂坑梨是优质名果。山地6460亩，耕地290亩；2005年为403人，分属89户。本村在2019年12月被列入第一批国家森林乡村。[1]
