沙田村1940年设保，1987年1月改为村委会，1999年3月由管理区改回村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村委会位于镇东南，耕地面积约1526亩，土壤肥沃，水源充沛。村中大量种植西洋菜等经济作物。[1]
