杨梅村位于杨梅镇墟镇所在地，离阳山县城约52公里，博雅地名网将其城乡分类定为镇中心区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年此地设保，1952年改为乡政府，1958年改为生产大队，1983年复为乡政府，1987年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年3月重新改为村委会。[1]

2005年4月，根竹、坪湖两个村委会经阳山县人民政府批准撤销，并入杨梅村委会。[1]

人口与耕地[edit]

博雅地名网载，该村耕地1213亩，其中水田793亩；全村辖10个村民小组，共345户1384人，劳动力1015人。2022年的县级报道称，全村10个村民小组，人口接近1700人。[1][3]

产业[edit]

2021年的县级报道称，村里投入50万元，建设了8亩大棚八月桔育苗基地，并发展大棚蔬菜和油茶种植。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，杨梅村获评第八批「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。村内建有法治长廊和法治文化主题公园，并为各村民小组制定了村规民约。[3]

2026年1月，村庄获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
