杨梅村是吴川市浅水镇西南边的行政村，靠近长岐镇，三丫江和电白至湛江方向的高速公路横贯其中，辖12条自然村，总面积9.48平方千米，人口3400多人[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
杨梅本属茂名县，1958年10月转入化州县，次年起属长岐区（1961年），1964年设杨梅大队，1965年划归浅水公社。1983年为乡委会，1987年为管理区，自1989年起称村委会[1]。
村情[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，村内耕地2000多亩；金鹏小学由村民和外出经商者集资380万元兴建，占地约3万平方米[2]。杨梅村在2018年度评选中被列为「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）[1]。
