历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，村名“乔梅”由来已久，村委会因而取此名。[1]其建制几经更名：1953年为乔梅乡，1958年改作生产大队，1983年恢复为乡，1987年设村委会，1989年又叫管理区，1999年重称村委会，此后未变。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村委会资料，全村356户，2006人，耕地677.2亩，年平均气温19.1摄氏度。[1][2]主要作物有荔枝、龙眼、蔬菜和北运四季豆；资料称，龙共村有92%的种植户种植水东芥菜，乔厦村设有蔬菜种植场，全村蔬菜面积三百多亩，北运四季豆种植约100亩，并有生猪和鸡的养殖。[2]据同一资料，上一年全村经济总收入520万元。[2]

近年大事[edit]
2024年春，区委派出的巡察组到乔梅村巡察党组织，同年8月把意见反馈给街道党工委和村党组织。[1]2025年12月，广东省政府批复，同意乔梅村的一部分集体农用地改作建设用地，办理征收手续。[1]
