村山村在茂名市电白区陈村街道东部，是1958年从陈村分出的一个生产大队发展来的行政村，辖21个村民小组，全村面积2.5平方千米。[1][2]村里种有水东芥菜等蔬菜。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村山原属陈村，1958年分出自成一个生产大队；其后1983年改乡，1987年设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年重称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

百度百科和博雅地名网所载的资料一致：全村人口5612人，耕地1798亩，主要作物有花生、水稻和蔬菜。[1][2]农业基地包括芥菜种植基地、北运菜基地和红心鸭蛋销售点；村级道路已全部硬化为水泥路面。[1][2]
