历史沿革[edit]
建国初期归南雄县第七区，后组成杨梅初级社、高级社。1958年公社化时划入尚睦管理区；60年代初成为杨梅大队，1963年黄茅垇、丁洞两个大队并入，仍用杨梅之名。1983年称乡，1988年称管理区，1998年12月起为杨梅村委会。[1]
名称由来[edit]
建村时这里有成片的杨梅树，因而得名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
杨梅村在2024年3月进入2023年度广东省卫生村名单；2019年9月列入广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地1468.8亩，林地6832亩，种植水稻、花生、竹木和黄豆。[1]
