地理环境[edit]

沙田位于清城区北面，地处笔架山南山群，南望飞来湖，面积约7600亩。与清远市区相距约5公里，距广州市63公里[2]。

人口民族[edit]

社区常住人口4337人，党员92人。社区辖内自然村共15条。黄塘东村获评市级文明生态村，区级文明生态村则有白石塘、沙岭、下山、上田、田一与田二等村庄[2]。

经济[edit]

社区每年固定收入约11.13万元[2]。社区在柑仔园的低效用地上引入了益特隆农副产品交易中心，另有一个水产仓储物流项目[3]。

农房改造方面，社区以沙垯岭村为试点，推行“村民买瓷片、政府帮施工”的共建模式，并推广到黄塘西、黄塘东等村庄[3]。
