历史沿革[edit]

1949年建起乡一级机构，1958年并入大队体制，1983年转设乡政府，1986年组建村委会，1989年划为管理区。1999年2月6日，阳春市政府依批示设立大垌村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

造罗寨蓝氏宗祠在本村的造罗寨自然村，位于一口水塘边，坐西南朝东北。据《蓝氏族谱》所载，该祠建于乾隆十年（1745年）。[1][2]

2012年10月20日，该宗祠被公布为广东省第七批省级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，大垌村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月将大垌村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]

2021年12月，本村的凤溪村获列入「2021年度阳江市卫生村」名单。[1]
