历史沿革[edit]

1958年改作大队，1983年改设乡政府，1986年转为村委会，1989年定为管理区。[2]

1999年1月29日，阳春市人民政府批准设立沙田村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，沙田村委会下的山角村、上垌村获认定为阳江市2021年度卫生村。[1]
