蓝塘镇社区是蓝塘镇政府所在的居民区，城乡分类属镇中心区，社区名与镇名同出一源，「兰塘」之名传为圩边兰树所起。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

蓝塘镇社区的前身是公社时期的居民大队，1958年划入蓝塘公社，此后到1982年一直如此；1983年起设蓝塘居民委员会，2001年改称蓝塘社区居民委员会，至今未变。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内的蓝塘镇杜氏宗祠建于清咸丰五年（1855年），属古建筑，是第四批河源市文物保护单位。[2]
