罗塘村位于蓝塘镇，村中有一口大池塘，圆得像竹罗，因此称罗塘。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
罗塘在1958年编为蓝塘公社的罗塘大队，1982年前未变。进入八十年代，先在1983年转为乡，1987年称村委会；1989年设管理区，1999年再撤区设罗塘村民委员会，这一名称保留到现在。[1]
罗塘村是2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布），也在「2019年广东省卫生村」名单内（2019年10月公布）。[1]
