建联村在蓝塘镇，村名取自20世纪50年代「建设祖国，学习苏联」的口号，截头去尾得「建联」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建联1958年为蓝塘公社建联大队；1961至1962年随石城公社，1963年公社撤销后重归蓝塘公社。1983年建联乡人民政府成立，1987年改称村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年4月撤区、设建联村委会，沿用至今。[1]
建联村是2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）；2022年8月，又成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
