塘田村在蓝塘镇，村名的缘由是旧时有5口水塘、合计十多亩，后来都填作水田。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
塘田在1958年是龙渡大队的一部分，1961年单独成队，1963年再并回龙渡，1974年重新分立。改革开放以后依次为乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年）；1999年管理区撤销，成立塘田村民委员会，至今未变。[1]
