名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村里只有一条小溪，水量常年不足；雨水调匀的年份庄稼丰收，天旱则颗粒无收，村名由此而来。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年改称小水村委会；此前依次为1986年称小水管理区，1983至1986年作小水乡政府，1958至1983年为小水大队，1949至1957年为小水乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单2019年9月公布。[1]
  • 2023年5月，省爱卫会认定它为2022年度「广东省卫生村」。[1]
