地名由来[edit]
江西杨村有一条小溪向东南流过，四季有水，溪两岸住有居民。因溪水不大，遂取名小水。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后村称小水乡，其后改为小水大队；1999年设小水村民委员会。[1]
文物[edit]
小水廊桥位于村口，始建于清代，1990年代曾经重修。2015年12月，经广东省人民政府公布，列为「第八批广东省文物保护单位」。据河源市文物古迹介绍，它是全市唯一的古廊桥。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年3月，入选「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
