名称与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，辖区多为嶙峋的盘石，高低不平，其中「石子岌头」一处最醒目，后人取「石岌」二字为村名。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年起称石岌村委会；此前依次为1987至1994年为石岌管理区，1984至1987年改称石岌乡，1962至1984年为石岌大队。[1]
