名称与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村在石马河上游，地形成较大盆地，居上，因此叫上庄。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年改称上庄村委会；此前依次为1988年为上庄管理区，1984年称上庄乡，之后改为上庄大队，中华人民共和国成立前叫上庄堡。[1]
