秀水村属梅州市兴宁市石马镇，为镇下的行政村。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村原因地势使小水向下流，与小水同屋，称小水保；中华人民共和国成立后兴修水利、筑塘蓄水，旱情得到改观，遂改名秀水。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年改称秀水村委会；此前依次为1978年后为秀水管理区，1967至1978年称东方红大队，1949至1967年为秀水大队。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2023年5月，省爱卫会认定它为2022年度「广东省卫生村」。[1]
