五星村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，村情资料记全村3680人、756户，耕地1396亩，山林328.1公顷，集体经济收入1.2万元。村内有清咸丰年间建的躲世围。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

村原叫河东，因在黄陂河东岸；合作社时期起名五星。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年9月，河东村属黄陂区；1951年10月成河东乡，1956年12月降为河东小乡，隶岗背乡；1958年建公社，称河东营；1961至1983年称五星大队，仍属岗背公社；1984年3月设五星乡，1987年改管理区，隶岗背镇；1999年成五星村委会。2004年11月岗背镇撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]

躲世围[edit]

躲世围是钟氏九世祖钟桂玉兄弟四人在清咸丰年间合建的围楼，相传为躲避太平天国军队而建。楼为四角碉楼，坐南向北，建在田间，东西长52.8米、南北宽53.8米，占地约2600平方米；外围三层、碉楼四层，墙用三合土夯筑，厚60厘米，只在北面设一门，不开外窗，只留碉眼；楼内共186间房，西碉楼角下有水井，东楼已倒塌，南楼、西楼尚有30多人居住。2009年8月10日，它被兴宁市人民政府列为“兴宁市特色古民居”保护单位。[2]

2019年9月，五星村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
