名称由来[edit]
村委会辖区内有一个大土墩，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
土墩村1949年初是村农会，1958年归黄陂公社五星大队；1961至1976年间，它几次在五星大队下的土墩村与岗背公社的土墩大队之间变动；1983年11月属五星乡政府，1989年6月成管理区，隶岗背镇，1999年起称土墩村委会。2004年11月岗背镇撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]
文物[edit]
刘氏始祖开七公墓在蚌湖头，年代为1224年，是兴宁市县级文物保护单位。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，土墩村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
