黄石村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，村情资料记全村1826人、375户，分10个村民小组，耕地583亩。村内有清代的俊康围。^[1]^[2]

名称由来[edit]

辖区位于黄石潭的下游，所以叫黄石。^[1]

1949年成立农会时，这里隶属黄留农协会；1953年成黄留乡下的黄石村，1958年建人民公社后仍归黄留大队管理委员会，1983年区、乡、村改制，依旧属黄留乡。1989年起划归岗背镇，名为黄石管理区，1999年改称黄石村委会。岗背镇在2004年11月撤销，所辖各村由黄陂镇接管。^[1]

俊康围建于清嘉庆年间，是坐西北朝东南的围屋，三堂二横带四座角楼，建筑占地1363平方米，前有禾坪和池塘，角楼檐角翘起如鹿角。据博雅地名网，落基祖从江西迁来。兴宁市人民政府在2010年8月13日将它列入第二批“兴宁市特色古民居”。^[2]^[3]

2019年9月，黄石村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单；2026年1月又获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。^[1]
