虎留村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，村情资料记全村915人、196户，耕地433亩，山林50.1公顷。[1]
名称由来[edit]
原名虎头石，据说是当地石灰石形如虎头。新中国成立后，曾有人见到老虎在石灰石上出没，后人说这是老虎逗留过的地方，改名虎留。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年9月，虎留属学士村，归黄陂区。1978年它从学士大队分出，立虎留大队，隶岗背公社，后又并回学士乡；1987年再立虎留管理区，属岗背镇，1999年改村委会。2004年11月岗背镇撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]
