历史沿革[edit]

村在西河漳溪圩以东，故名东方。民国时在城区保安乡内，1952年归西河区漳溪乡，1958年秋并入西河公社，设东方大队，1986年改隶西河镇东方村，1998年起为东方村民委员会。[1]
