双溪村在枫朗镇东北部，设17个村民小组，在册544户、2819人，耕地517亩，村里有网箱养鱼。村名因远水溪与清泉溪在此汇合而来。[1]

双溪原是一个镇的名字：1973年设双溪公社，后来成区、改镇，2003年双溪镇撤销并入枫朗镇，双溪村委会随之归枫朗镇管。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖三十六年（1557年），此地属清远都黄沙社，清乾隆九年（1744年）属兰沙甲；1943年属石云区双和乡。1952至1956年为石云区双溪乡，1958年10月成枫朗公社双溪大队，1973年改隶新设的双溪公社，1986年2月称双溪乡双溪村，1998年设村民委员会，2003年随双溪镇并入枫朗镇。[2]
