双溪村是梅县区畲江镇的行政村，村名由双下、合溪两处地名合成。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
双下与合溪两地各取一字，称双溪。1958年时是双溪大队，1987年改为管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，双溪村获第一批广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月公布的广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中也有该村。[1]
