王兰村在枫朗镇南端，设22个村民小组，在册675户、3055人，耕地989亩，主要种水稻。^[1]

这里是连贯的出生地，连贯故居总觉流徽也在村中。村名原作「黄兰」，后为书写方便改成「王兰」。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属清远都黄兰社，清代属兰沙甲，村名写作黄兰；民国属石云区广德乡。1957年是大埔角乡下的王兰小乡，1958年10月成枫朗公社的大队，1973年转隶大埔角公社，1983年曾归双溪区，1986年12月称枫朗乡王兰村，1998年设村民委员会。^[1]

总觉流徽在村中下村民小组，是清光绪十九年（1893年）连贯之父修建的客家民居，坐北朝南，背靠小山墩，面向西岩山，门前有池塘，为二进二横的院落，砖石木结构。2021年被定为县级文物保护单位，2023年升为市级，屋内设有连贯生平陈列室。^[1]^[2]

枫朗墓群的一部分在村里的金星面山一带，于1982年被发现，1986年发掘清理了22座墓葬。^[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱国卫生委员会授予王兰村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。^[1]

连贯（1906—1991），原名连学史，生于本村贫苦农家，后来在八路军驻香港办事处、中央统战和侨务部门任职。^[3]
