历史沿革[edit]
明、清两代就叫大埔角；民国属广德乡，1952年归石云区大埔角乡，1958年10月成枫朗公社的大队。期间曾以新村为名：1961年起叫新村大队，到1984年因县内同名者多，才改回大埔角。1998年撤管理区，设村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有两处与中共南方局相关的文物：中共南委机关旧址，2016年6月29日列入市级文物保护单位（第四批）；中共南方局工作委员会机关旧址，属1941年的遗存，2019年4月19日公布为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[1]
