双龙村是梅县区畲江镇的行政村，由龙坳、龙塘两村合并而成，村内有省级文物保护单位双龙村大夫第。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

龙坳村和龙塘村合并后，以两个「龙」字合成双龙。1958年时是双龙大队，1987年改为管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

双龙村大夫第是旅居马来西亚的李氏十八世华侨晋郎公在光绪年间（1875—1908年）建成的客家住宅，属二堂三横一杂屋的布局，坐向朝东，用土、木、石砌筑，占地1556平方米，宽55.2米、深27.35米。外门楼呈「歪门正厅」，门额题「大夫第」。[1][2]

它在2014年1月成为第二批市级文保单位；广东省人民政府2015年12月10日公布的第八批省级文保单位中，它名列第62项。[2]

荣誉[edit]

双龙村列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]
