太湖村是梅县区畲江镇的行政村，境内有清代的太湖刘屋，为梅州市文物保护单位。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
这里湖洋田（沼泽地）多，旧时俗称太湖洋，后来简称太湖。1958年立太湖洋大队，1987年起设管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
太湖刘屋是清代古建筑，梅州市人民政府于2016年6月29日将它列入第四批市级文物保护单位。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，太湖村获第一批广东省卫生村；2019年9月公布的广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中也有该村；2026年1月被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
