双螺村是梅县区畲江镇的行政村，村名与寨上、观音山两处螺形山势有关。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据传，村中寨上的山形像螺，原观音宦对面的山也像螺，因此叫双螺。1968年时是双螺大队，1987年改为管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。博雅地名网的页面标题与维基百科的镇下辖列表写作「双罗村」，页内说明文字写「双螺」。[1]
该村列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]
