响水村隶属广东省梅州市梅县区南口镇。响水寨（响水电站）一带原属石仔塘，陡峭的石河水从高处冲下，落差大，水声响亮，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1941年归响水堡，1949年在兴梅专区内为泗都乡，1958年归荷泗公社，1986年成立响水管理区。[1]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
