南龙村隶属广东省梅州市梅县区南口镇。村庄地势形如一条龙，龙头靠近原第三十八野战医院一侧，龙尾延至与车陂村相接的高山，头大尾细；村子坐北朝南，故称南龙。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年立南龙大队，隶南口公社；1983年归南口的仙龙乡；1986年成为南口镇下的南龙管理区；1999年改为村委会。^[1]

2026年1月，南龙村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。^[1]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]
