历史沿革[edit]

1958年建锦鸡大队，1986年改为锦鸡管理区，1999年起成为锦鸡村委会。[1]

2019年6月，锦鸡村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

干庐位于村内，建于1936年，类别为近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑；梅州市政府在2017年3月24日将它列为第五批市级文物保护单位，广东省政府又在2019年4月19日列为第九批省级文物保护单位。[2]
