长沙村是梅州市梅江区长沙镇政府所在的村，即长沙圩镇一带，分布在梅江河东西两岸，206国道和广梅汕铁路都穿村而过，距梅州城区约10公里。长沙、黄洞、黄泗、井头四个村在2001年9月并为一村。[1]

历史沿革与地名[edit]

长沙、井头两村在清代属罗衣堡，民国时期随罗衣乡。公社化时为长沙大队和井头大队；1983年分别改乡，1987年改设村委会，归长沙镇。[1]村在梅江河东岸，约有一公里长的沙坝（自江屋桥至黄洞桥），称长沙坝，后称长沙村。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村有19个村民小组，在册610户、2223人，总面积20平方千米，耕地710亩。作物有水稻、花生、大豆和蔬菜，特色收入包括养猪、养蛋鸡、养鱼，以及种水果和大棚蔬菜。[2]镇里还拿出200多万元，在村中修了镇文化广场，并兴建综合文化活动中心。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2010年获「梅州市生态村」称号；2026年1月，列入「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1][2]
