上罗村是梅州市梅江区长沙镇的革命老区村，位置较偏，距梅州城区约16公里，由陈公坪、上罗两村在2001年9月合并设立。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
上罗、陈公坪两村在清代属罗衣堡，民国时期随罗衣乡。据博雅地名网，上罗村解放前叫罗衣堡，解放后改称上罗衣村。公社化时各为一个大队；1983年分别改乡，1987年改设村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村有19个村民小组，在册521户、1900人，总面积20多平方千米，耕地1664亩。特色收入有毛竹、肉兔、生猪和金柚，毛竹种植面积达5000多亩；人均收入由不足3000元提高到2009年的4439元。[2]
