石下村在龙江镇，1951年12月起设石下乡，1999年5月改称石下村；2021年9月列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，所列为石硖龙眼[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年9月，石下属第二区路溪乡，1951年6月为路溪乡所辖的石下村，同年12月单立石下乡；1957年12月并入茅冈乡，1958年10月成为平陵公社石下大队，1961年转入路溪公社[2]。1984年3月起称石下乡，至1987年1月设村民委员会，1989年10月称管理区，1999年5月改称村[2]。甘坑村在1992年以前属石下管理区[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，石下村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
