龙江村是龙江镇的行政村，城乡分类为「镇乡结合区」，村名与镇名同源，来自当地的茅岗一名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
此地在1949年9月属第二区茅岗乡；1958年10月成为平陵公社的茅冈大队，1961年改属新设的龙江公社，称龙江大队[2]。1984年3月设龙江乡，1987年改为龙江村委会，1989年10月称管理区，1999年5月恢复现名[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，龙江村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
