甘坑村在龙江镇，1992年经上级批准从石下管理区分出，成立甘坑管理区，1999年5月改称甘坑村[2]。

甘坑原属石下管理区，1992年另立管理区，1999年5月改用现名[2]。
荣誉[edit]
甘坑村的荣誉较多：2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，所列为石硖龙眼；2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2022年1月被广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年1月又确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」[1]。
