红岭社区属惠东县平山街道，1999年6月由南湖居委会分出。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

当地原有一片山岭，草木不生，土壤呈红色，社区由此得名。1999年6月从南湖居委析出，设红岭居委；2002年依粤民基〔2002〕5号文改为红岭社区居民委员会。[1]

社区荣誉[edit]

2022年9月，红岭社区被评为「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
