上南村位于广东省惠州市博罗县园洲镇，是该镇下辖的行政村。上南位于东江之滨、园洲中心，在沙河片的南面；下南（刘屋、陈屋）在它下方，故称下南，它居其上，因而叫上南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上南在新中国成立前归东莞县文顺乡（今石龙）管，建国后划在东莞第七区（企石区），1958年10月划入企石人民公社；博罗县于1959年3月接管，编入园洲人民公社。1983年11月设上南乡；1986年1月起设管理区，直到1999年才成为上南村民委员会。[2][3]
