历史沿革[edit]

村在红花嶂山地，集水面积大，夏季山洪暴发时坑水特别大，因此得名。[1]

清代属苏州巡检司，民国编入七区乙乡；1952年划归一区石坝乡，1986年设石坝镇，1990年起称大水坑村民委员会。[1]
